This course provides the student with a method of visual
examination and basic cephalometric tracing and measurement.
These skills provide the practitioner with the basic information
to diagnose dental and skeletal malocclusions.

lecture specifically covers:

Methods of visual examination to screen potential malocclusion
•
Identifying cephalometric landmarks
•
Trace and measure cephalometric landmarks
•
Diagnosing malocclusion in growing children.

Advanced
Diagnosis and Cephalometrics
This course furthers the skills from the basic course
and introduces the use of diagnosis software into the
practitioners skill set. Specifically developing techniques
for diagnosing Phase I & II treatment needs for the
8-16 year old patient.

Cephalometric data
identifying dental and skeletal problems

Arch length determination
