Francis Miranda, DDS, MS, PhD is Doctor POGO. He founded POGO Seminars, Inc. in 1980 (Pediatric Orthodontics and Guidance of Occlusion). This is an Orthodontic Training Program. The goal of the organization is to help Pediatric & General Dentists manage developing occlusions in growing children and prevent and /or intercept malocclusions in their pediatric patients.

Dr. Miranda has practiced Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics for 30 yrs. He has been lecturing during this time throughout the U.S. and Europe, etc. Today he works with small groups in Dallas in order to spend more one on one involvement with each doctor.

Dr. Francis Miranda graduated from Baylor University, College of Dentistry, spent two years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps, graduated from University of Missouri at K.C. in Pediatric Dentistry, practiced for 10 years. Graduated from Baylor in Orthodontics and has practiced both specialties simultaneously since that time. He has taught at Baylor College of Dentistry in the depts. of Pediatric dentistry and Orthodontics since 1978 until 1990. The last years have been involved with practice and teaching dentists to expand their practices with Early Orthodontic Therapy and limited Complete Orthodontic Therapy. He has also done post-gradutae work in Physiology and has completed a Ph.D. in Education.

POGO Seminars has been providing seminars and case management services to the dental community for 25 years. The mission is to provide Orthodontists, General Dentists and Pediatric Dentists with a unique opportunity to expand their practices. POGO Seminars utilizes current information, experience and long-term results in both early treatment and complete orthodontic care facilitating the dentist’s ability to diagnose and treat their pediatric patients.
